THE LINE UP / ♀️ FEMME ♀️ / PART 1
Mackenzie Larsen
"I'm a singer/songwriter, I've co-written a musical (I wrote the music/lyrics) about female friendship, motherhood, and the challenges that come with balancing your relationships and responsibility as a female creative. My piece is a song from the musical titled "Dandelion Girl," which is the character Marie's song written to her would-be daughter".
Maria Telnikoff
"My name is Maria and I'm an actor, writer and a poet based in East London. I've recently finished writing my first collection of poems entitled "songs of inexperience" centred around female desire. For me, Femme is obviously a term which has now been used positively and as a tool of empowerment to reclaim "feminine" traits and interests but, in my poem, I wanted to use examples of the highest "femme" figures (Shakespearean lovers, super models) to show how that divine femininity can be used, abused and destroyed".
Poet the Jules
"I am Poet the Jules; a non - binary, queer, neurodivergent poet, artist and performer. I am a multidisciplinary creative embarking on a journey of writing, music, physical- and performance art. I've been featured with events around different London venues, speaking about themes of queerness, transness, neurodiversity, sobriety and mental health".
