The party never stops at Animal House! I had the inkling of this type of outdoor workout about a week ago, and was so excited about this one, and boy was it a blast! Sure, I couldn’t do many of the exercises beautifully or even competently and some I couldn’t do at all (I *should* be able to do the exorcist, but turns out walking in chakrasana is really. Freaking. Hard) but the challenge was the point. It can be easy to think, pffft. I can fire off burpees like a skeet-shooting redneck, how difficult can 40 minutes of weird, unfamiliar exercises in an unusual environment be? It’s actually very hard! Taxing your coordination, your proprioception, and your balance can challenge your stamina and power in all sorts of startling, weird ways. And y’all know I gotta keep it weird. And look at that, I can still get that leg all the way up there in my old age. I look forward to returning to this one again, and will continue to work on it until I look less like a flaming jackass.
