Allison and I had a great day yesterday. We talked about many different things. She told me a joke; she loves telling me jokes. Her dialysis center always had a “joke of the day.” At one point, she stared out the window and I stared at her. I hope she knows how much I love her and how I would do anything for her (and her siblings). She did say she gets sad because her siblings can’t join us on our “after doctor visit adventures” anymore. They haven’t been able to join us in three years due to the restrictions that happened. I’m thankful for her. I’m thankful she’s healthy. I love her soooo much. I wouldn’t trade places with anyone. Yesterday was action packed once I got to West Hollywood. Although it may seem like poor planning, it’s really just me going with the flow. I spent some time at @thegrovela which was absolutely delightful. It’s an outdoor shopping experience with a massive farmers market & eatery. I didn’t do too much shopping; I hit up @lululemon & @barnesandnoble but otherwise I just enjoyed the experience. There is so much to see I did a couple rounds before heading out to see three museums! One cool thing I checked out was the Netflix pop up store. It was filled with quirky decorated sections based off the most popular shows (squid games, stranger things & Bridgerton) and of course sold a ton of souvenirs related to those shows. It was a matter of me saying I went there; we all know I can’t sit still to watch a show to save my life. Although I did admittedly watch Bridgerton in its entirety last winter since it was cold, snowy and I hate that 😂 I’d love come back and try out food at the farmers market and check out a couple stores. It was the menorah lighting and 20th anniversary celebration when I want so it was jam packed. It was so lovely. You walk on the streets, there’s a trolley that must go by as there was tracks down the centre. Yesterday I took a trip to The Grove for the first time and visited the Netflix store. They had some nice sets to look at as well as shop. I couldn’t take much photos as I would have liked considering that it was packed inside but I’m happy with what I was able to get. Lots of cool Stranger Things stuff in here. Not as big of an experience as it’s advertised but it was still nice to see. Netflix and chillin’ 🍿🎥 Made a quick trip to one of favorite places in LA for some awesome sightseeing and holiday fun. The holiday decor was in full swing along with Netflix’s pop-up store.
