After a run of positive steps for ROS, or at the end of a crochet project I can sometimes find myself feeling a little overwhelmed. I can feel the procrastination setting in, I prioritise everything else and it's very easy to fall into a slump where I don't pick up my hook for weeks. This year I don't want this to happen, I want my crochet business to be more and do more.
That being said; this weekend I listened to the overwhelm and I accepted the feeling. I eased off the peddle slightly and relaxed.
The girls were having a brilliant weekend with their dad and I spent some much needed quality time with these two gents.
We have been, to soft play, potty pancakes, to a nursery open day visit, on little walks to the shop, lazing around having breakfast in bed; and just catching up on a bit of house admin.
I also had a very special young lady over, to help her with her crochet work. She was already doing so well with her crochet, she just needed a bit of support to help her feel more confident. I am so excited to see how her current WIP turns out.
Tomorrow is the official start of my February, and I will be thinking about, and setting, my goals for this month.
Right that's all from my Sunday night brain dump. In summary- it's been a lovely weekend, and it feels good to step back when you feel you need to; self care is important!!!
