Hello everyone! I realized I haven’t really made a formal introduction so I’d thought I’d make one.

My name is Candy and I’m currently about to finish my first year of undergrad at the University of Toronto - St. George Campus. I’m planning on double majoring in Political Science, International Relations, and minoring in either History or Sociology. After that, I plan on going to grad school to complete an MBA. I have high ambitions working for the United Nations / The Government of Canada focusing on human rights and policy making.

I was born in Toronto and raised in Markham. I’m currently residing Downtown Toronto for school. Growing up as an only child, I’ve always had a passion for food with parents who love to cook and take me out to restaurants. A childhood memory I fondly my mom would put me in a baby carrier while I watched her make Zongzi (粽子) which is a traditional Chinese rice dish stuffed with different filling like pork and wrapped in bamboo leaves. I love spending time in the kitchen experimenting with food and trying out new recipes.

When I’m not food blogging, you can probably find me spending time with my loved ones, going to the gym, studying around campus, getting involved in extracurriculars, volunteering, or roaming around Downtown Toronto.
