Sunday Nonprofit Spotlight:
@pawsitiveheartspa !
Pawsitive Hearts PA was formed on January 1, 2020. This nonprofit's mission is to nurture the compassion in and for animals through rescue services, community education and pet therapy services to local organizations.
In just a few years, Pawsitive Hearts PA has rescued one puppy, two adult dogs, and almost four hundred cats and kittens. In addition, Pawsitive Hearts PA has twelve animal assisted therapy teams that visit schools, nursing homes, and even the organizations such as Berks County Courthouse and the Children's Alliance Center.
This rescue is foster-based at this time, and 100% volunteer. They are funded primarily from public donations and fundraising activities. To responsibly plan for the future, Pawsitive Hearts PA places a portion of fundraising income into a building fund, as they are planning for a shelter that would house both dogs and cats.
Local and looking to adopt one of the great cats or kitties at Pawsitive Hearts PA? You can find them at the PetSmart in Temple PA (19560) and at the Petco in Exeter PA (19606).
Check out this amazing rescue and give them some love for the great work they are doing!
