So honestly? When I see weapons in the original - and that's extremely rare - it scares me a lot. Whether it's police officers, whom I meet from time to time, or the soldiers in Paris, who patrol the streets of Montmartre, heavily armed with MPs.
What a feeling it must be to hold such giant guns in your hands.
Or even swords. Personally, I always find it fascinating how naturally these weapons are wielded. Especially that theater scene in Romeo & Juliet... that nobody gets hurt!
It all has to be trained somehow so that it becomes second nature and the actor can concentrate on his acting.
If you think about it all, then actors are also kind of all-rounders, at least when they are so versatile and play many different roles, for which they then also prepare meticulously, like Richard Madden does.
Singing, dancing, horseback riding, swinging swords, throwing knives, handling rifles and pistols, flying, fighting and acting along the way... admirable.
But the greatest "weapon" this actor has is his talent! And that's huge!
I'm really looking forward to April 28th = Citadel Day!
