Banksy is a big inspiration for me. I asked myself, why are there still wars? How can you ban something like this once and for all? It‘s really something I still can‘t understand. In my opinion if all weapons in any form are destroyed, no more new weapons in any form to be built, everyone left the military, no one new will joining the army – than we are on the right track. People are just afraid of their fellow human beings. Respect, tolerance and trust is the key for me! Then our planet will be livable again and finally one happy place for everyone. When I had the idea to make also a new artwork with my favorite electric car company Tesla, I had a clear vision, to photograph the scenery in a Tesla Model S Plaid with the special steering wheel. But the problem was, the car was at this time not available in Switzerland. So I booked a flight to Phoenix/Arizona. The good thing, the rental company where I booked the car for a day, had also a friend which was modeling. The last artwork from the newest series – which is all about „Appreciation“. A big thank you to all my collectors. Without you, I would never had the chance to grow like that. And for me it is also important, that you as consumer and viewer of my content appreciate that – and content should not be seen as given. I have to sell a lot of artworks just to cover the expenses. Then building up a gallery network, preparing exhibitions, printing/signing/framing/shipping – needs all my energy and time. And it always goes months till my next shooting. Framing is extremely hard to decide. But I learned today, it really depends on the Artwork. „Back To The Future“ I think the best Framing is without white Space. Just a black Border to not disturb the Atmosphere. For „Morning Swish“ I think the best Framing is with white Space in the same Ratio like the Frame himself and without Signature, that the Artworks is separated by the black Frame. What do you think? Daily Bat – Back To The Future Which Framing is your Favorite? 1, 2 or 3? Love to share one of my most personal Artworks which I photographed last year in my Hometown. I’m was growing up in Canton Valais/Switzerland, in the City called „Brig“. Together with my mother Raphaela Ritz, which raised my Brother Alessandro and me up. I guess she had a really hard time. Working 100% and beside you have to raise up two sons. I really believe that she struggles a lot. And I think she really felt many times alone. All this stress to handle all by yourself, I can’t imagine how hard it was for her. But I would love to thank you mother for being there. You are the strongest women I know! And I love the fact that you never had any requirement for us, what we have to do in live. We are doing first what we love. Anyway, you never can go back, but you always can try to do it better. Thank you Alessandro for playing the Bat. The hike which we started 4 am in the morning for 2 hours up was just magical. One of my favorite countries in the world: Italy 🇮🇹 I‘m was traveling many times trough Tuscany and I‘m a huge fan of Rome. They really have one of the best kitchen. Simple and always magical! When I’m was a child and invited for lunch at my grandparent‘s, they always had this bottles on their table.
