Climate change is a global phenomenon that has already begun to leave its mark on the planet. From melting glaciers and rising sea levels to more frequent and severe weather events, the effects of climate change are being felt in every corner of the world. But beyond the environmental impacts, climate change is also having a profound impact on human lives. To better understand how climate change is affecting people in Kashmir, I embarked on a journey to meet with a variety of individuals and groups whose lives have been touched by this issue. My travels took me to different parts of the region, where I spoke with nomads, saffron growers, environmentalists, journalists, flood victims, and senior citizens. As we continue to grapple with the challenges posed by climate change, it is clear that we must work together to find a way forward.
