RawlsMatic - “Role Reversal” Today’s the day & it’s been a long time coming. You don’t know how long that my brother @jrawls82 & myself have been working on this album; we’ve been working on this for a looong time & now it’s finally here! When we announced a while back that we were making a joint producer album together, a lot of people were surprised & of course, curious. Being that Rawls & myself have two different production styles, a lot of people couldn’t really comprehend what a J Rawls & Rhettmatic production would sound like. This album is culmination of everything we are inspired by, put all into one. This is not a strictly Hip Hop album, no…..this is a Hip Hop/Soul/Instrumental album. And in the process of making this album, we were able to inspire & push each other that we were not used to doing. In doing so, our friendship become stronger & became family.
