(1) The first exercise emphasizes preventing your legs from compensating and it can help target more thoracic rotation.
(2) this exercise emphasizes getting some load into spine rotation. A band is a great way to initiate the load, though a cable column can also be used!

Feeling some tightness in the front of your hip? This is more often weakness or lack of stability that causes a sensation of tightness. Try mobilizing it with a joint distraction and soft tissue release, then make sure to strengthen within that new range of motion!
1) lateral hip distraction with band x 8-10 reps
2) hip flexor release with lacrosse ball - 1’
3) Deadbugs with hip flexion iso focus - 2 x 6
4) standing hip flexion with KB - 2 x 6-8 reps
