The soup was flavourful and filled with crayfish! AMAZING. 🍞 [𝕠𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕦] 🍞 BOKKO TOAST 🍞HAM CHEESE TOAST 🍬DALGONA @jjintoast serves up Korean Style Toast which features cabbage, egg and some buttery toast to hold it all together! I really liked that all of their sandwiches are made fresh to order. It’s really worth the 5 min wait to get a fresh sandwich. The Ham Cheese toast is as LOADED with ham, fluffy egg, cheese, cabbage, pickles and JJin sauce. This sandwich was absolutely delicious. It was hearty, filling and the cabbage and pickles really helps cut through the more decadent cheese and protein. The Bokko Toast is more simple; consisting of cabbage, carrot, scallion, onion, egg, ketchup, mustard and SUGAR. I personally always go for this one because i like that this toast is kind of sweet which surprisingly tastes really good with the egg! If you’re looking for a quick and delicious bite definitely give @jjintoast a whirl! Jokbal is a super popular dish in toronto and is essentially pork hocks braised for HOURS in a pot full of delicious aromatic spices. The result, tender and flavourful pork hocks. @hanyangjokbaltoronto is a very spot and it is VERY likely you will have to wait for a spot especially at their north york location. However, it is worth the wait. The pork is sooooo tender it basically melts in your mouth. I love making ssam wraps with the pork and load it up with kimchi and ssamjjang 🤤 For me the DIY rice balls is a must! It goes soooo well with the spicy jokbal and bossam. The DIY rice balls is a mix of seaweed, fish roe and lots of mayoooooo~ The cold noodles are SPICY AF but the noodle texture is super chewy making them soooo addicting. @hanyangjokbaltoronto will always have my heart ❤️ I highly recommend giving this spot a whirl if you’re looking to try something new! LOOK. AT. THIS. @ikon_sushii is the perfect spot for takeout sushi trays and bentos [ᴏɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴍᴇɴᴜ] 🍱 vintage sushi, sashimi and roll 90 pcs @ikon_sushii is one of my new favourite spots to get sushi!! Their sashimi cuts are THICK and their fish were definitely high quality! You can tell the fish is very fresh 🤤 The seafood were also soooooo tender and it was almost melt in your mouth level tende (esp the tuna 🤤) The rice for the nigiri was also perfectly seasoned so I didn’t have to dip the sushi into more soy sauce. And those rolls were just as tasty and i liked that there was a more fish to rice ratio 😮‍💨😮‍💨 Definitely going to be ordering from here more often since we frequently get sushi takeout for dinner! I didn’t expect much for this brunch tower but I did really enjoy it!! The top layer features buttermilk pancakes, a fluffy whipped cream/custard and fresh berries. The second layer was filled with chili scrambled eggs, lamb sausage, double smoked bacon, brussel sprouts & potato hash, shakshuka & preserves and some toast! I enjoyed that I can construct my only little toasts with all of my faves on topping~~ I especially liked how the shakshuka was super flavourful and the bacon was nice, THICK AND SMOKY 🤤 This brunch tower has all of the breakfast classics and their current promo is the perfect chance to give it a try! Hi, I make my bf drive me to get hotpot at 10PM at night 🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘🥘 @ushishabu is a new shabu shabu restaurant located in Richmond Hill! First impressions, this restaurant is stunning! I love the Asian Pacific inspired look! 😍 @ushi_shabu_shabu is an authentic ayce Japanese hotpot restaurant! Shabu shabu is a bit different from the more conventional hotpot as it is a lot lighter on the stomach. Since the broth for shabu shabu isn’t as umami and spicy, the original flavours of the meat and veggies were still coming through! @ushi_shabu_shabu had three different menus: classic beef, premium wagyu and world wagyu! There was also lots of different seafood, veggies and meat options + ayce onsen eggs~~~~🤤🤤 I tried the ox bone broth, spicy miso and sukiyaki soup base! Our table has individual pots set up but I shared with everyone else for variety 😋😋 This spot was soooo yummy!! Their regular beef menu is also only $35.75 for ayce on weekends!! I really enjoyed that I didn’t feel heavy after my dinner (esp bc i went so late at night 😅)!
