Came back to try @cafenone_ pastas!! Went to the Yonge and Finch location. We got there a few minutes after opening on Saturday and a lot of the tables were already filled! Again, we found the atmosphere to be really nosy and it felt at times we had to talk really loud, it almost felt like we were yelling. Both pastas were good but nothing too special about them. The spicy ragu had lots of meat but I didn’t find it spicy at all. The wafu carbonara was flavourful but a bit oily and salty. We ordered: 🍝 spicy neapolitan ragu - italian sausage, tomato, roasted garlic, sake, yuzu kosho, penne, garlic bread, house salad 🍝 wafu carbonara - thick-cut smoked bacon, garlic, onion, ponzu, parmigiano reggiano, onsen egg, japanese nori seasoning, spaghetti, garlic bread, house salad 🧊 ice chai latte ☕️ black sesame latte (not in picture)
My friends introduced me to @huilaushanca a while back and we went to the location in Mississauga. They specialize in mango desserts and drinks! 🥭 Originated from Hong Kong. We ordered: 🥭 mango coconut slush with tapioca 🥭 mango coconut with sago 🥭 jumbo mango coconut with taro balls and grass jelly Obsessed with the mango coconut slush!! So refreshing! Even got my parents hooked it on. We love tapioca but the only thing is that they put way too much for our liking. More than a quarter of the cup is filled😅 we have asked for less tapioca but still filled up the cup the same amount as before. So now we just ask for no tapioca haha!
Throwback to summerlicious 2022 @minamitoronto Our friends and us all ordered the same things except for the dessert😂 everything was good but it didn’t blow us away. It was quite filling though! 🥩 short rib carpaccio 🍣 salmon don 🍰 dark chocolate almond cake, matcha crème brûlée, ice cream with fruit
@ohpapawings is a Sri Lankan takeout spot in Markham serving a variety of dishes including poutine, wings, rice bowls, wraps, and more! We tried: 🍟 chili onion poutine 🍗 breaded sweet chili ginger wings 🍗 tandoori chicken cheese wrap 🍗 butter chicken rice bowl 🥟 speciality pastries ( chicken keema puff pastry and butter chicken pastry) The portions are huge and everything is made fresh! Also if you love Costco fries, they use that here!! We loved the chili onion poutine!! They do not skimp out on anything. Each dish we had was so flavourful! They also have some unique flavours for their wings! The sweet chili ginger was something we never had before and it was really good! Definitely check this place out!! @kome_shokudo is an inexpensive Japanese comfort restaurant serving udon, donburi, curry and izakaya type appetizers located in Richmond Hill. It’s almost like a fast food type where you line up to order and pay, then a cat robot (we did not expect! So cool!) brings out your order. Fried chicken cravings satisfied☑️ made fresh to order!! Only got 2 chicken tenders because this was my snack before dinner 🥹 @thgshotchicken fried chicken tenders are so juicy, flavourful and crispy! They also are a decent size!! They have different spice levels and I chose medium. It was not spicy so I would try hot next time! Also, if you love cheese fries I recommend you getting it from here!! They do not skimp out on the cheese sauce! The only complaint I have is that the music that they play from the boombox at the front is too loud. I was almost yelling my order because the worker couldn’t hear what I was saying 😅
@makerpizza never disappoints! Big mac in a pizza form? YES please!!! Very generous with the beef and lots of fresh lettuce. The onions were not strong in taste at all! The crust was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, fluffy in the inside! Return of the Mac garlic fingers - white base, mozzarella, ground beef and cheddar slices. Finished with special sauce, diced pickles, shredded lettuce and white onion
@arabica.ca now serves matcha soft serve and we are here for it!! The matcha soft serve was creamy and had a nice strong rich matcha flavour!! Would definitely get again!
Another aesthetic cafe we stumbled across in Seoul. @cafe_highwaist is located in Ikseon-dong. We were walking around waiting for our lunch reservations and luckily got here when it just opened. We decided to come back later for dessert. Got there in the afternoon and it was packed! Luckily got the last two seats! Since we were so full we just shared an earl grey scone and an iced latte! So good!😋
We love the cafes in Korea. Each one is unique and aesthetically pleasing! @cafe.onion has a few locations in Seoul. The one we visited was by Anguk station! This location is the only one that is traditional hanok themed. We recommend coming here early because from the reviews and pictures we’ve seen, it gets really busy! But then again, most cafes in Seoul are always busy! We got here around opening time and within an hour or so it was starting to fill up and it was a weekday! Everything we got was delicious. Definitely recommend the Pandoro which is the pastry that looks like a snowy mountain. It is their signature bread, covered in powdered sugar. YUM!😋
⭐️ Michelin Bib Gourmand ⭐️ Myeongdong Kyoja is a family owned restaurant that has been open since 1966. They are known for their knife-cut handmade noodles. Only 4 items on their menu, specializing in dumplings and noodle soup. The portions are huge! They’re always a line up but it moves pretty quickly! The chicken soup broth is very flavourful. It has a bit of a smoky and pepper flavour. Their kimchi has a nice strong garlic kick to it! Soo good! 📍29 Myeongdong 10-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea
