My #artvsartist2022 year has been great. 2 years ago I started on my freelance journey and had a goal to work on a bigger movie before I hit 30. I'm 29 now, and got more then I dreamed. This year had my first official interview, met & got my work noticed by bigger directors and actors, I got to work with some of the bigger agencies on amazing projects, which I can't wait to share soon, indie & smaller productions and soon, fingers crossed, on my first comic book cover. Together, we would solve everything.” Inspired by the Multiverse of Madness poster, we decided to make one for The Council Of Reeds, influenced by Jonathan Hickman’s run of The Fantastic Four. Led by Reed Richards of Earth-838, member of the Illuminati, he assembled the Infinity Gauntlet and sought out other versions of himself, such as the Reed of Earth-121698 (Fantastic Four 2005), Earth-15866 (Fantastic Four 2015), Earth-94000 (Fantastic Four 1994) and finally the Reed of Earth-616 (based on the rumored casting of Adam Driver). Batman v Superman is celebrating its 7th anniversary. Director Zack Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio is a match made in heaven. Together they brought together the Son of Sun and the Knight of Night in a five act structure modelled after the great greek tragedies. BvS is not just among my favorite comic book movies but also up there in my all time favorite films. As Chris Terrio described it best, he dug deep into everything from ideas about American power to the structure of revenge tragedies to the huge canon of DC Comics to Amazon mythology. Batman and Superman serve not as “heroes” but as Gods among Men. Batman is Pluto, god of the underworld, and Superman is Apollo, god of the sky. That their conflict is not just due to Lex Luthor’s manipulation, but their very existence. “Batman v Superman is a bit of an Empire Strikes Back or Two Towers or any similar middle film in a trilogy. The middle film tends to be the darkest one.
