This highly malleable candy used to be a crowd favourite earlier, with vendors carrying poles of candy on their cycles and shouting out their arrival to all the kids in the locality. All you needed back then were a few pennies to eat these candies in your favourite shape, and children would rush out of their homes as much for the showmanship as they would for the candy itself. .
