Meet Priscilla! 😊 Priscilla is the youngest of twelve children, and has a twin sister named Mercy! Unfortunately, her parents could only afford one meal a day, which was not enough to properly feed all of their children. During one of the Love One Team’s food aid efforts, they found Priscilla is a vulnerable state. So, they took both Priscilla and her sister to a nearby hospital, where they were both treated for sever acute malnutrition. Once they were stable enough, they were relocated to the Love One Center. Here, Priscilla was put on a balanced, nutritious diet, as well as crucial medical care. Slowly but surely, Pricilla regained her strength, and began to gain weight! Eventually, it came time for both Priscilla and her twin Mercy to be reintegrated back with their family! Staff Spotlight! ⭐️ Meet Ronald! Ronald is a drive at Love One. This means that Ronald drives to villages and rescues babies that are in critical condition. He takes the babies to the hospital for stabilization, and then eventually takes them back home to their families once they are ready to be reintegrated. In addition to this, Ronald transports essential items for the babies, such as diapers, nutritional supplements, clothes, bedding, etc. Ronald is described as soft-spoken, humble, and a positive light among the staff. Whenever he is needed outside of normal work hours, he is always willing to show up outside of his normal responsibilities. Love One is so grateful for Ronald, as we couldn’t do our work without him! Thank you Ronald, for all of your hard work!! 😊

Transformation Tuesday! This transformation is one that is very special to the Love One Team! Everyone say hello to Patience! When Patience was just over a year old, her parents began to have disagreements within their marriage, which led to Patience being neglected. Eventually, Patience began to experience severe swelling around her nose, which only continued to worsen over time. This swelling eventually turned into a large wound in her face. While her parents were advised various treatment options, Patience continued to worsen, and became severely malnourished. Her parents eventually lost hope, and decided to leave Patience to the care of her aunts and uncles. When Love One heard of Patience and her story, she was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she underwent multiple surgeries to repair the wound in her face (Swipe to see Patience at rescue). After a month at the hospital, Patience was stable enough to come to the Love One Center, where she continued to receive the love and treatment needed to grow. Patience fought for her life day by day and slowly, she began to recover. After a year of staying at the Love One Center, her facial wound was fully healed, and she was nourished back to health! Patience is now reunited with her mother, and she is growing up to be a healthy, happy little girl! Patience’s resilience has inspired the entire Love One staff. Her story is a reminder that hope always remains. We are so thankful for Patience, and the Lord’s faithfulness through her story! ❤️
