#LrEssentials with @tramnble | The bamboo house in Bali is a true photogenic wonder. With Lightroom, you can elevate your photos to new heights, enhancing the natural colors and light to create truly breathtaking images. • Here are my 3 #LrEssentials in Lightroom: 1. Let's start with light. The photo is already well-exposed, but we can make some subtle adjustments to bring out more detail in the shadows and highlights. In the Basic panel, adjust the exposure, contrast, and highlights to your liking. 2. Let's move on to colors. The photo has a beautiful natural color palette, but we can enhance it further. In the HSL panel, adjust the hue, saturation, and luminance of the individual color channels to make the colors pop. In these photos, I’m playing with the green color to really bring out the color of surrounding nature. 3. Let's talk about masking. Using the Adjustment Brush, create a new mask to selectively adjust the color of the lake. I recommend using a smaller brush size and lower flow to make precise adjustments. With these 3 essential tools - light, colors, and masking - you can easily elevate your photography game and make your photos stand out.

Accentuating the light with @withgar #MadeWithLightroom • Corfe Castle is always beautiful, but there are a few days a year when it is transformed to look like something between fantasy and reality. Especially when you get a thick fog sitting on the land. It was important for this photo that the fog stayed low enough so the castle was visible. Combined with a warm and strong light from the sun, a golden hue is sent in all directions by the fog and creates less contrast thanks to nature. Where this drone photo truly comes to life is in Lightroom. With Lightroom, the fantasy feel and set of unique conditions can be amplified to meet my minds eye, warming the shadows and softening the highlights, melting the backdrop away even more so with local adjustments. I decided to remove the cars, I felt they were distracting my vision for the photo, which can easily be done with the tools: Content Aware & Clone Stamp. I finished by dropping clarity and adding a touch of grain for a timeless feel, sharpened with masking in the 30-40 region to allow for detail and retain a softness with the fog.
Learning to harness the light with @kevinlithium #MadeWithLightroom • My photography improved the most when I focused on lighting and editing, not the gear. These images were created using a spotlight, some red fill and a haze machine. Finally, I used Lightroom to really dial in the look that I had envisioned in my mind.

I was so lucky to get a shot of a man inside one of the balloons! The vibrant colors of the hot air balloons against the stunning Portuguese landscape made for an unforgettable experience.
