2023 Bloomsday 12km. Congratulations to International Elite’s Joyline Chemutai who finished 7th against a very talented field; and to fellow team member David Bett who finished 4th in a very, very deep field.
Two champions today with strong victories in Montana’s 5 Mile professional race, Dominic Korir and Joyline Chemutai. Here we are enjoying a yummy celebration meal.
Congratulations to IETC’s Joyline Chemutai on her podium finish today at the Cooper River Bridge Run, just behind Sarah Naibei and Cynthia Limo. Strong 7th and 8th places for IETC athletes David Bett and Dominic Korir, against a deep strong field and very windy conditions.
We cannot accept cheaters or dopers in our sport. The winner of San Blas Half Marathon, Alexander Torres Rojas, bib #5, has tested positive for doping. His ‘fake’ win pushed IETC athlete David Bett off the podium, and IETC athlete Dominic Korir is now the fair and honest runner-up. IETC stands firm that cheaters deserve no respect in our sport and we are awaiting the San Blas race to disqualify “Mr.” Rojas.
San Blas Half Marathon on the extremely hilly course plus heat and humidity. Here is Dominic Korir and David Bett in the lead pack pushing a fast pace. In this heat it was too aggressive, as they were already taking fluids at 4km. The heat and hills took their toll, as David faded to finish 4th and Dominic ran strong to grab the last podium spot in 3rd. Joyline Chemutai, seen just off the back of the men’s early pack, continued her strong racing in America with a 4th place in the deep international field.
Congratulations to IETC’s Dennis Kipkosgei for winning the 2022/23 United Airlines Rock n Roll Half marathon series. In his five series races, Dennis won two, finished 3rd in two, and ran his PB while finishing 4th in the San Jose race. Congratulations Dennis!!

Huge success today at the Monterey Bay Half Marathon. International Elite T.C. athletes excelled! David Bett broke the long-standing course record to win the men’s race with Dominic Korir close behind in 4th. New team member Joyline Chemutai in her first race in America broke the winner’s tape with our Caren Maiyo finishing second on the cold and hilly course. Great racing today. Proud of all my team.
