She’s a beauty. 🤩This large box pleated empire lamp shade by Brentwood collection instantly caught my eye and I needed it in our home. The only problem, this lampshade is a spider fitter. My existing lampshade is an UNO fitter. But, if you didn’t know, they make adapters for your floor or table lamps! Genius! The last of my birthday flowers. I created this flower arrangement by selecting those remaining flowers that still had life left in them. Don’t be quick to discard a flower arrangement that is dying off. I always find some flowers and greenery that are holding strong. You can create a whole new look, whether it’s a smaller vase, a shorter arrangement or that one flower to display in a bud vase.

I ordered this ranunculus print and received it in the mail, just as I was heading out the door for vacation. Ranunculus are one of my favorite flowers and this print was love at first sight. Our trip to North Carolina. Lots of mountain views, cows galore and some of the friendliest folks that say “how y’all doin?” Our first trip and hopefully more visits to different areas of NC, in the hopes of finding a piece of land to build and retire. The biggest challenge is finding land in a town that feels right.
