𝐋𝐚𝐯𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 - 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥 @lavagrillcanada is a fast casual restaurant concept that offers Mediterranean cuisines. They have either stand-alone restaurants or can be found conveniently at the mall's food court. I had the pleasure to try some of their delicious platters, wraps, and milkshake. We tried their 𝙢𝙞𝙭 & 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙛 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙖 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 & 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙖 𝙬𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙚. My favorite is the chicken shawarma in the platter and the donair wrap. Each dish was super filling. We finished the meal nicely with a milkshake to fill in all the cracks. Be sure to pop by and try them out if you are craving shawarma! 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘀 I am one who is good at eating but not when it comes to cooking LOL. So when I had the chance to try out @goodfoodca , I was pretty excited! 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗠𝘀. It'll save you the pain of trying to figure out what to make for a few days 😋. The process of picking your meals per week is very quick and easy online. It gives you the chance to try so many unique cuisines. After that, you just wait for your goods to be delivered on your chosen date. Each meal kit is nicely prepared and packaged. The instructions for cooking are easy to follow, and each meal is fairly quick to make too. I find each dish well portioned for 2 people and the flavors are delicious! Last week I tried the pad see ew, seared pork chops, and asparagus bucatini. My favorite was the pad see ew. It was so enjoyable! Thank you @goodfoodca for the gifted box to try! 𝔾ℝ𝔼𝔼𝔻𝕐 𝔻𝕆ℕ𝕌𝕋 Finally got to check out the super popular donut shop that recently opened in Calgary this year. @greedydonut_yyc offers freshly baked cream -filled donuts. There are many delicious flavors to choose from and also limited flavors! They make limited quantity of donuts each day, so make sure you go early to get the flavor you want. We got a box of 6 donuts: 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘬 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮, 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘯, 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮,  𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘰 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘴𝘦, 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘦𝘴𝘦'𝘴 and an iced dolce latte. I enjoyed all the flavors! The donut itself was so soft and fluffy. The cream filling was not too sweet either but had the right amount of flavor. They not only sell donuts but also non coffee and coffee drinks! 𝐎𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 @otafest is happening this weekend from May 19-21 at the Telus Convention Center. It is an annual conference for anime enthusiasts. Fans can cosplay as their favorite characters, shop at local vendors, discover new artists, and enjoy many of the other events happening. Though the single and weekend passes are 𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕 already, you can still check out the free events around the area. But to shop at the vendors and enter certain spots, you would need a pass to enter. 𝗣𝗵𝗼 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 🥢- 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 @phokingdomyyc is a beautiful modern vietnamese restaurant in Calagry that offers what feels like endless options of food. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮 $𝟯𝟬 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 to Pho Kingdom to enjoy their food. My favorite is the bun bo hue. It wasn't too spicy and the flavor was good! The portions are fairly large and decently priced too. We ordered a variety of dishes! And one particular dish that stood out to me the most was the squid tempura. It is so soft and fresh! I highly recommend it. We customized our two hot pot soups and proteins. Tried the kim chi soup with seafood and tonkotsu soup with beef. They were good combos and the kim chi was not overly spicy. We also got a bowl of curry ramen, mango tango roll, Alaskan roll, and chicken karaage. By the end of the meal, we were soo full! The sushi rolls were very filling. This time when we visited, we tried: - The secret ramen (You have to ask the staff for it when you're there in person 😉) - Tonkotsu shoyu - Chicken Karaage - Mochi matcha parfait I have not yet had a ramen flavor that disappointed me from Chicking yet.
