Society often tells us if we need to be consistent, have a routine or a structure, map it out, to be successful…
It’s so strange to me that we are pushed to do, plan, act, react in a way that feels so forced…
Once I’ve mapped it out and stuck to a plan…
Once I am consistent I will be able to…
Once I finally stick to a routine and commit I will…
That doesn’t work for everyone…it feels like a lot… it feels like too much… it feels forced.
Routine might suit you, consistency might be the commitment you made to yourself… mapping things out might be helpful for you…
But while structure and consistency have never been my strong points - belief is.
And what I’ll say is, you may not have mapped out all of the steps either, you might not be ‘working hard’ on achieving your dreams, but if you know what your dreams are, then trust each step you’re making is the right one. It’s not a race to the finish line, someone moving faster won’t necessarily get there quicker - and really, when you think about it - they aren’t even trying to get to the same place as you, they are trying to get to their place - no one is racing you to your dreams, you’re already on your way… believe in yourself, believe if your dreams and trust that you are on your way, literally all of the time; whatever you do, slow or fast you are right on track for your dreams.
The power is in believing.
