It’s the first day of spring and cleaning is in full swing over here! 🌿🧹 This is part one of my spring cleaning series that I’m sharing as motivation to myself (and hopefully you). It’s a new season, so it’s the perfect time to deep clean and reset your space! Watch as I tackle our bedroom and stay tuned to find out what area of our home I do next!

I recently painted our pantry & back doors BLACK. I absolutely love how they came out 🖤 I’m obsessed with the contrast these dark painted doors add to the space. Now the question is… should I paint every door in the house black? We have a ton of doors and it would be a huge project, so who wants to help?! 😉 Paint: Iron Ore by @sherwinwilliams (the ✨perfect✨ matte black; we used this same color for the front of the island) I am using SW’s SnapDry™ Door & Trim paint — I highly recommend it, but opt for satin over semi-gloss. Super fast drying time, which means you have to work fast. Don’t be afraid to lather it on and trust the process. It will look worse before it looks better. Requires 2-3 coats.

Happy birthday to Annie! 🖤🎉 I can’t believe this girlie girl is TWO years old now. We’re so lucky to have a dog who loves SO hard and puts her heart into everything she does. She’s the cuddliest, happiest, water-loving, fetch-obsessed dog who continues to surprise me every day and has been the best big sister to Oakley. Can’t wait to spend many more years with Annie Bananie by my side 🫶🏼

Just a buncha couch potatoes 🖤 Believe it or not, I took this picture after I cleaned up Annie and Oakley outside (if you didn’t see my stories, they managed to get themselves covered in mud). Times like this I’m so thankful that their coats make them so easy to clean (and that we have a leather couch that makes it easy to wipe away any dirt or messes).
