The 2023 season comes to a close. After traveling to Qatar, Morocco, Italy, Norway, Switzerland(x2), Hungary, Belgium and Oregon, I can confidently say I am ready to rest 😴
This season has been beautiful and memorable and undoubtedly my best. While the consistency in my racing earned me a lot of opportunities, some specific expectations were a bit higher. I had hoped to cap off the year with a shiny PB but came up short. I had trained to win my first US title and believed it was possible but came up short. Instead, I was consistent. I grew in ways that will pay off over time and feel deeply happy with my efforts and execution of my biggest goals- representing Team USA on the global stage and being competitive at the highest level. A couple 10th place finishes don’t feel too bad in the grand scheme of things. 🤍
Thank you to my team, coaches, friends, family and
@pjsullivan9 for all you do to help me along the way. 🤍
"We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially, We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations” -Anais Nin
