One thing we missed during the design stage was a soap area! We used to keep a bar soap in the niches but it would make such a mess in there and fall out often! The most refreshing, beautiful and easy cake to make for your next summer bbq! 🍋Lemon Berry angel food cake🍓🫐! Warning…the lemon whip cream topping is addicting! Instructions below: ▪️Angel food cake (mine is store bought) ▪️ 1 box of lemon pudding mix with one cup of milk ▪️ Add 1 container of cool whip into the pudding. ▪️Apply to the angel food cake ▪️Wash and apply blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and a few cherries ▪️For a special touch add cute daisy sprinkles. Tips- make sure cool whip is thawed in fridge (it needs to keep its shape so don’t speed thaw). When you mix the putting in the Cool Whip together, if it becomes liquidy, you can put it in the fridge to help firm it up before you apply to the cake. Come take a look inside my 36 inch freezer! We absolutely love the shallow storage. It allows us to see all our items, and nothing gets lost in the back! As you can see, we have plenty of Costco frozen food bags in here and it fits them just fine! The icemaker in the drawer is perfect and creates ice fairly quickly. I like to use the bottom drawer for meats in the fridge door for Popsicles and desserts! I know this fridge is a splurge, but for us we knew it would eliminate having to have extra freezers in the garage or basement! DIY floral display 💐! Such an easy way to add a special touch to any room. My oldest daughter was really excited to get this project going. It really was easy! Easy faux tree for your porch! You all know I love real plants but it would have been tricky to grow anything in constant shade. Here at the steps: ▪️Find a cute oversized planter. Mine was from home goods but I have links for similar ones! ▪️ Pick up a faux tree. Mine was from Michael’s and was on sale! ▪️Gather some wood blocks or cut a 2x4. ▪️Fill pot with the wood either stacked or create a small circle. We cut two half circles to sit on top. ▪️Use packing paper to fill in the sides (or any recyclables you have!) ▪️Add one bag of river pebble rocks from Home Depot! If you choose to not cut wood into a circle which helps create a smaller area, you will need more rocks! Anyone else love greenery on the porch? We don’t have a theater in our house so movie nights would take place in our living room.
