Sophia’s first baseball game, and lucky her, it ended up being a triple header. Riley had his first travel ball tournament of the year this last weekend. We sent Riley down with his coach Sat and had planned to stay home in Flagstaff with the baby, but after two wins Sat we decided to all get down to Phoenix for the Sunday elimination bracket. The team went 1-10 last year in three tournaments, a learning year for sure. Then they came out this year and turn the tide going 5-0 and getting the tournament win and a sweat ring. Riley pitched, made some catches in the OF, stole bases, and hit some big ones. Sophia slept most the time and provided in between game entertainment for the team.
Happy Birthday Hudson. You seem to like your gift 🥰. 8 years old and now the Bruce household has three September birthdays. You are already such a great big brother.
We welcomed Sophia Joan Bruce to the world this morning at 2:40am. Mom did absolutely amazing, no words can express the poise and strength she displayed. I am overwhelmed with love right now holding my little girl, knowing mom and baby are healthy, and getting to see the smiles on my boys faces when they got to meet their sister.
This is 41! @scottcookie16 had these amazing shirts made for a day of fun, golf, pool time, dinner, and karaoke 🎤!!! Grateful to have these friends from HS. We don’t get to hang out enough but when we do we pick up right where we left off. We fit a lot of fun in 30 hours and are all now back home with our family. Thanks so much for making the trip boys. @girl_dad14 and Chris M. Good fun fellas.

3rd and 4th grade has started, with @stephrothstein at 33 weeks. Riley picked out his big shirt because he said he just can’t wait to hold his little sister.
Bruce Camp going strong. We’ve run hard, had a few falls, made some new friends and we still have a couple days to go. Love hearing people stories and seeing them enjoy the beauty of Flagstaff.

One last weekend getaway (no kids) with @stephrothstein . Overly impressive east coast style wedding was a ton of fun. Time to go back home and get the house ready for this baby girl… because I don’t if you can tell but Steph is pregnant.
A strong masters showing today as the top 3 were all under 4:50! Pretty solid for a rolling course at 7000ft elevation. Pumped to get the win in 4:36 and lower the course record (first 40+ to break 4:40). @stephrothstein followed with a 5:39 28 weeks pregnant, and the boys ran their hearts out in the 1/2 mile. 10+ years living in Flagstaff and my first time racing the Downtown Mile. Many reasons to miss it, new babies, being in Australia, Steph racing, but no excuse to miss it today. Thank @runflagstaff for such a fun event.
Flagstaff Downtown Mile! I can’t remember the last time I raced a mile, so cheers to getting out of the comfort zone. Bonus points, @stephrothstein is running also, 28 weeks pregnant, and our boys will run the 1/2 mile. To all racing this July 4th, have fun.
