18:00 : Study Talk
Andrés Agudelo
@aag_illustrated (Berlin - Bogotá)
How much space do we need to live, to exist? What is the scale of our needs? Human infrastructures have superhuman scales. Inhabited spaces and functional spaces. Our life depends on a complex network of infrastructures: ports, roads, highways, airports, factories, industrial estates, warehouses, crops, greenhouses, etc.
The landscape is less and less natural. The world is becoming more uniform. The infrastructures extend devouring every meter of free landscape. An apparent order in an apparent chaos. Our identity is supported by non-spaces that in turn make possible the spaces that do give us that identity.
Is our only possible future an endless net of infrastructure? A combination of a physical, digital, chemical, and pharmaceutical one?

18:30 : Performative Action
Giuliana Grippo
@giu.grippo (Blanca - Buenos Aires)
Giuliana has a process-led practice that explores the physical-temporal engagement of body and material. Her work examinates the symbiosis of man-made materials and organic matter seeking to build tension within vulnerable structures.
For Alternative Futures, she has played with ephemeral elements and fragile objects to construct a symbolic ecosystem that brought back the memory of a desertic landscape. The installation will be activated by the artist in a brief performative action.
