I love watching the Milky Way rise anywhere in the world. There is something special about seeing it’s vast intricacies reveal themselves from our perch aboard Spaceship Earth. This time-lapse was from my Utah’s National Parks Night Photography workshop in May, 2023 following the Nightscaper Conference in Kanab. Our group enjoyed great conditions for exploring the cosmos from one of the most beautiful places on earth. I used my Sky Watcher Star Adventurer Gti to track the sky while my camera captured 1,056 images, each with ISO 6400, f/3.5, 10 seconds with a 14 mm focal length lens on my Nikon D850.
