Ptarmigan camouflage | On a cold December day in Sweden's Sarek National Park I came across this male ptarmigan. When I approached slowly, the bird did not flee so I stayed the whole day with him. He spent the day in a cave and left his snowy sanctuary only by the end of the day to feed.
