We collabed with @shilpauskokovic, food editor of @bonappetitmag, to make a spice that works with a huge range of baked goods. "This is a blend of all my favorite baking spices that I reach for again and again. Warm cinnamon and cardamom play well with the citrus overtones of coriander, while smoked star anise and wild mesquite bring a beguiling smokiness," says Shilpa. Use it as a 1:1 sub whenever you'd use cinnamon -- think coffee cake, snickerdoodles, banana bread, apple fritters, hot chocolate (!), and spiced maple syrup for pancakes and waffles.
