Last year I had one of the most incredible experiences, witnessing the only total solar eclipse of 2021 in Antarctica which occurred early in the morning on December 4th. I took this photograph on Union Glacier located near the Ellsworth Mountains. The moment of totality was only 39 seconds, but it was 39 seconds of magic.
