Jobaria tiguidensis skeleton on display at the Musée National Boubou Hama in Niamey.
Jobaria was the first dinosaur I stumbled upon in the Sahara in 1990 in the Tiourarén Formation, and I knew then that I would return. The subsequent expeditions in 1993 and 1997 unearthed several skeletons which are the basis of this mount. The genus name refers to a mythological giant of the tuareg, Jobar.

@paulserenoofficial How hard is it to find dinosaur 🦕 bones 🦴 in India? 🇮🇳 And are it’s fossil bearing rocks 🪨 under protection for scientists? 👨🔬
